The theme that my class voted for for the graduation dance this year is masquerade. Which is fun. But now I need a mask. I'd really like a wire one, but I have no idea how to make one. Any suggestions or tutorials? Something like this:
Gorgeous, right?
Or there's another pretty one here:

I know it's not until a few months, but I want to start making it.
On another note, we made whoopie pies on sunday! The mix was a gift from a friend. They were pretty good; not bad for our first try.
They're a bit lumpy, but you know... I like them, at least. That's what counts, right?

I love that first mask. So. Much. I've done a bit of wirework, and it looks fairly simple...just draw out a pattern on paper, then use 20 gauge wire and "trace" along the pattern. You'd probably want a needle nose pliers to get the swirls right, but the rest you can do with your fingers. Then, you can use a thinner wire and beads to decorate in-between swirls like a web.

PS ~ I used your infinity scarf pattern awhile back! I shortened it a bit, and it turned out super cute! I also knit a bunch as Christmas presents for friends. It was one of my first knitting projects, and after all that practice with straight knitting, I was able to attempt a sweater.(:
Hi there~~ those whoopie pies look dee-lish! :)
