Party...

One of my friends is having a birthday party, and I want to give her something special (it's her 13th)--that is, if I actually go. But I shall be positive for now and assume I'm going--I wouldn't want to miss out. ;) Here's my haiku for her: The new birthday girl; The one who just turned thirteen. Oh, she is so old. [this line could also be, 'Oh, she's so ancient.' Either way.] I want to make her a gathered pouch and also a handknitted cowl/infinity scarf. Have you ever made a handmade gift?

  1. Most of my gifts are handmade, because when you give a handmade gift you gave your TIME to this beloved one. Of course, not everyone deserves a watercolor (I'm a painter, watercolor, graphit, acrilics...) but, what about a personalized t-shirt? I'm gonna meet my family (I live a little far and can't see them so often) and I have customized t-shirts(my nephew says "tunned"), a purse organizer for my sister in law, needle pockets.... a bunch of little handmade gifts. I know they will appreciate it, and they have enough watercolors to make an exhibition... :D
