Since my popcorn costume isn't done yet, I'm going to be a Goomba from Mario at school. I'll still be a box of popcorn for Halloween on Sunday, but for school I'm just gonna wear this hat I knit (from Fade Crazy). At first the hat was too short, it didn't even cover my ears. I was so sad. :( But then I had the bright idea to add ear flaps, and after that, I got a bit more creative and crocheted a chain and added some pompoms. I told my mom I'd just be a Goomba for now, and at first I think she didn't really like it. But I think she warmed up to the idea and agreed to lay out brown clothes (did I mention she picks out most of my clothes?).
